Hello and welcome! My name is Jennie Kellerstein, and I am a Child and Adolescent School Psychologist. I am thrilled to be part of the Emerald Psychology team, where I focus on providing comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents. I am passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment to help children and their families gain insights into their unique learning profiles. I value getting to know each child as an individual and tailoring my approach to their unique strengths, needs and goals.
Prior to joining Emerald Psychology, I spent over 18 years working as a School Psychologist with the Toronto District School Board. I have extensive experience conducting psychological assessments for children and adolescents ages 3 to 18, as well as consulting with parents, teachers, and school administrators to support children’s learning and development. My clinical expertise includes the assessment and diagnosis of a wide range of learning, mental health, and developmental disorders. I offer evidence-based strategies and practical resources to support each child’s growth and success. I earned my M.A. in School and Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Toronto in 2007 and am registered as an autonomous Psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
Outside of work, I enjoy distance running, baking, and spending time with my husband and four children.
